National Botanic Gardens of Wales
The Garden is set in the 18th century park land and gardens of the former Middleton Hall just outside the village of Llanarthne (3 miles from the farm). An estate of 568 acres, it enjoys views across one of the most beautiful valleys of unspoilt Wales.
The centrepiece is the largest single span Glass House in the world, designed by Sir Norman Foster and Partners. It houses a stunning landscape filled with a living collection of threatened Mediterranean plants together with a gallery and Bioverse, a "hands on" educational experience aimed at unlocking the mysteries of plant life.
