Brecon Beacons

One of the most beautiful national parks in Britain, the Brecon Beacons national park covers 519 square miles of land, of which over half is above 1,000 feet above sea level.

Pen y Fan is the highest peak in the park, and indeed the highest mountain in South Wales, at 2,907 feet above sea level.

The edge of the national park is about 6 miles from the farm.
