Dryswlyn Castle

Open all year round, the ruins of this castle are within a stones throw of the cottages. The short walk up the castles mound is rewarded with majestic, panoramic views over the Tywi valley. To the East the Black mountains are visible, and to the West, the river Tywi winds its way towards the ocean.

Paxtons Tower can be seen across the valley, and the farm itself can be viewed as a whole.

There is a free car park, and picnic area at the base of the castle.
