Farm Accommodation
Dryslwyn Fawr (pronounced "Drisloin Vower") is a large farm in the heart of the peaceful Tywi valley. The Farm offers four self-catering holiday cottages for rent all year round. They are an ideal base for a wide variety of holidays and short breaks.
The Tywi valley area has been described as "the best part of the most beautiful valley in Wales."
The farm itself lies midway between the National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberglasney gardens, both of which opened in 2000.
The farm and its surrounding buildings date back to the 13th century although the main construction was begun in the 17th century. The entire property, even the old row of pigsties, is Grade 2 listed as buildings of special architectural and historic interest, described as "a remarkably well preserved and complete model farmstead."
As a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), the area around the farm has been recommended as a Special Area of Conservation because it has such a high diversity of habitats/species of European importance.

As well as the cottages, Dryslwyn Fawr farm plays host to the newly opened The Fig Tree Restaurant and Wine Bar. The website has details of our menus, themed evening events, along with information about our conference, function and wedding facilities.
